Last weekend Dave built the wooden platform that the washer and dryer are sitting on and this weekend he installed a new water heater. Not only did he installed it, he relocated it. It took some doing to get everything right. The first water heater was defective so he has to reinstall a second water heater. Then the crud that was in the galvanized metal water lines came loose and plugged up the pipes. He has to use CO2 and a water hose to force the crud through the lines but it is done and I have a new 40 gallon water heater.
I am so excited about this transformation. When you live in less than 1000 square feet of living space you have to be creative in your storage. I have many of these tomato boxes and I took one and covered it with the fabric that my curtains in my living room are made of. Then I went to JoAnne's and purchased 2 1/2" wide ribbon and ran that along the top of the box. This box is already full of bead supplies. I plan to make at least five or six more of these boxes. It only took about an hour to do and I love the results!
